This Goldfinch was found eating on my feeder for several days. It is clearly missing an eye. It looks like the cooper hawk got it.
Eye problems
This Goldfinch was eating at the feeder long after the main flock has left. It allowed me to get close enough to take this picture, It was clearly damaged in the eye.
