Description

Male Mourning Dove with a deep, bloody wound. I sometimes hear gunshots and fear that someone is shooting doves as they are the most hunted animal in the US. He would lie on the ground and sleep most of the day. He had trouble waking and flying. We tried to catch him with a towel as the wildlife people said too, He kept barely hopping and flying away. We have not seen him since March 21 and fear that something happened to him. It is March 24 today.
