Both birds have infections in their right eye. I have had them for over two weeks and treated them with Polysporin for the Eye. Once a day was not enough, twice a day and there is huge improvement. I am a retired Royal British Columbia ;Museum employee. I saw a male finch outside that survived a period of below freezing weather and a lot of snow. We provide a feeder with sunflower seeds and suet packs.
