Watched this goldfinch for a day – all fluffed up, did not move when I approached. Was shaking. stayed at same spot all day. 12-03-21. Took down suet and seed feeders. Cleaned and soaked in bleach. Kept down for two weeks. When re-installed, changed from hulled sunflower/nijer seeds to black sunflower seeds with hulls; scattered handfuls of millet on the ground once a day. Only putting out one days’ worth of seed at a time.

Was it cold outside? If not then maybe it was sick. Great job taking down and cleaning feeders!
