Diseased Bird: American Goldfinch injury/illness left eye

I observed this Goldfinch at my window feeder at 12:05 pm on Feb 14 (not a count day for me, but I wanted to share the photo in the event it might otherwise be useful). The left eye is not visible due to illness or injury.
