Diseased Bird: House finch with apparent eye disease

This finch appeared for the first time this morning. He was very lethargic, his feathers were ragged, and both eyes looked bad.

He was on a mat where we put out seed for ground feeders. The mat is taken up and cleaned every night, and leftovers discarded.

We’ve taken up the map and taken down the nearby tube feeder for deep cleaning.
