Diseased Bird: House Finch with head growth

Noticed a house finch by the bird bath that had something on its head. After it moved to the feeder, I was able to take a photo but wasn’t able to get full profile of right side to see how much of the growth covered the head. Bird did not display any signs of distress. Seemed to eat fine. flew away after a few minutes.
