Diseased Bird: Injured Hummingbird

This little bird has shown at my feeders since yesterday, looking very ruffled. He stays for extended periods on my feeder, motionless which is very odd for a hummingbird. And when he bends to feed, I can see a gap/patch at his neck making me think he has been injured. Any suggestions on what I could do?

I think the best thing to do is to just leave him be. As long as he can fly and he’s still eating then he will probably be fine.
