Diseased Bird: Injured Mourning Dove

Regular bird feeding station for Project Feeder Watch and Apr. 13, 2025 4 doves flew in. This one in the picture caught my attention. It was feeding as normal but had been badly injured most likely by an area hawk. Watched him come in every day afterwards til Apr. 18, 2025. Have not seen it since.
