Diseased Bird: Male House Finch with Eye Problem

The eye growth is on the right side of the finch. He is visiting my feeder daily.
In Schertz, TX, I noticed another male house finch with the same problem, but did not get the chance to get him on camera. I believe it was on the right eye as well.

I live in Schertz, Tx, also, and have seen finches as well with eye growths. One poor baby kept flying into our window.
