Sick Bird: Sick House Finch
I’ve had house finches the entire period of this year’s feederwatch, but only in the last week or so have I seen sick birds. If you zoom in on the pic you’ll see this finch has his eye grossly swollen and infected, as have several other finches on my feeders recently. As it happens, the sick birds haven’t come on my count days, so I thought I’d send you a picture with the date on it.
