Diseased Bird: Tufted Titmouse eye damage
Additional images:
This Tufted Titmouse is a regular at my feeding station. It does not appear sick; it’s very energetic and doesn’t have any trouble feeding. I don’t know if the eye is missing, damaged, or diseased. This is the best photo I can get – looking through the window.

Poor thing. I hope that whatever he/she has goes away.
I have one similar to that. At first I thought his eye got pecked out by another bird. His eye appears to be damaged/blinded, and there is red all around his face on one side, like blood. I’ve seen him five straight days, and he’s active and energetic at my feeders and birdbaths. Now I wonder if it’s a deformity.
