This Painted Bunting appeared on Oct. 20th and comes every morning at daybreak to feed. Its bands are identical to bands on one of a pair of Painted Buntings I had at my feeders last year from Jan. 17th to Apr. 23rd. Last year it was immature and just starting to get colors as it left. It is so much prettier now – assuming it is the same one.
