Description

Pin-tailed Whydahs are becoming more common. Formerly, one or two might be seen together, but now several are often seen at our feeders. While the birds in this photo don’t have the distinctive tail, on August 6, 2021, we did see three Pin-tailed Whydahs together, all with the long tail, perched in the same tree. These birds have established populations in the nearby local park.
