Description

This is the first tanager I have ever seen in my yard, much less in December. It appears to be a young female. She has been in the platform feeder eating seeds, in the evergreen tree across the street, in my evergreen bushes, in the bird bath drinking and bathing, on the ground on the south side of the house for 2 days (entering my #s on the 15th).
