Although not rare, this Eastern Towhee has been showing up at my feeders (on the ground) past 2 weeks. This photo taken this afternoon, December 7. I have never had one at here that I am aware of this late in the year.
Towhee has been coming to my feeder for past 2 weeks. First time I have seen one this late in the year in the Danbury CT area. U
We’ve had them overwinter occasionally here in rural Southwest Michigan. I haven’t seen any this year.
