Description

Sparrow with white patch on his throat just under the bill and a beigish stripe just above his eye followed by a blackish stripe. He is a bit bigger than the Junco. He flew into our yard with two Juncos about a week ago and has been returning almost daily to eat seeds that we have placed on the ground in a patch of shrubs. We have never seen a White throated sparrow at this time of year before. They usually migrate through in the spring
