Feb 8 observed 1 male & 1 female within feeding area. Feb 9 observed 2 males & 1 female within feeding area. We have seen & heard small flocks of both white-winged and red crossbills this winter season in forest behind our property. Within our feeding area, we have tamarack, cedar and white spruce, all of which have bumper cone crops. It was a bonus to have a few white-winged crossbills visit our feeding area this weekend.
