Description

This yellow-bellied sapsucker has been at my backyard feeders for 5 days that I have documented. It is at the peanut and peanut butter feeders all day long. It fluffs up it’s feathers and has survived, even though the temperature has been sub-zero for 5 days.

I had a juvenile hanging around on 12/14, I’ve never seen one in winter, and only spotted one a couple of times in warm weather.
