Rare Bird: Northern Pygmy-Owl

We’ve been seeing a Northern Pigmy Owl all winter. It finally showed up on a count day. This is not an uncommon bird here in the North Central Interior — it may be for other parts of BC. I’ve also uploaded a photo — the bird sat in a shrub in front of the house clutching a Common Redpoll for about 15 minutes.
