Rare Bird: Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Small grey bird with one pronounced white wingbar and a smaller proximal to that, white eyering, a yellow-green cast to wings. It is smaller than the goldfinches and round in shape. It is very active, and has been eating the suet. It has been here since the season began, the first time I have ever seen one at my feeder, or even in the woods. I will try to attach a picture, if there is a decent one. This one doesn’t show the eyering; I will try to submit a better one if I can get it.
Species: Ruby-crowned Kinglet
