Rare Bird: Spotted Towhee

slightly smaller than the robin in the yard, very identifiable with black head and red under wing/breast. He was here for 3 or 4 days. Aggressive scratching behaviour – scratches at the earth with both feet. Not intimidated by other birds at the feeders, nor are they intimidated by him.
