Here’s a most unusual scene as viewed through our kitchen window during a snow storm.. A Downy Woodpecker joined up with a variety of other feathered friends…several Goldfinch and even a lovely House Finch couple! It’s not often that a Downy comes to our feeder platform, instead spending most of their time at the suet feeders.
