Description

Near the nest site in briars on the ocean shore, this juvenile Common Yellowthroat found something good to eat while foraging with Dad. The red under the beak suggests this bird is eating a berry, but these warblers dine mostly on insects. In any case, there was no going hungry on that day last summer.
