Description
This is a shout out to all you PFW folks who like me spend all our money on building habitat and who have dreams of owning a great camera way down on the bottom of our wish list.
Lonicera sempervirens feeds our hummingbirds but is also a host plant for spring azure butterflies and snowberry clearwing moths that are often mistaken for tiny hummingbirds. Seeds from this vine feed winter birds and the dense mass is a protective shelter.
Yeah, this is not a good photo but if it encourages one PFW participate to go over to Yardmap.org and start creating your own wonderful habitat, well, the embarrassment of the photo quality is worth it. It is just that important.
