Description

Most of the little birds saw the Roadrunner and evacuated. One Dark-eyed Junco boldly stayed behind, or didn’t see him sneak around the blue spruce. Quick as light the Greater Roadrunner snatched him up. I ran for the camera and tripod as the victim was plucked. The photo shows the last of the junco, seems it took some time to get the bird down whole.
