Description
Most of the little birds saw the Roadrunner and evacuated. One Dark-eyed Junco boldly stayed behind, or didn’t see him sneak around the blue spruce. Quick as light the Greater Roadrunner snatched him up. I ran for the camera and tripod as the victim was plucked. The photo shows the last of the junco, seems it took some time to get the bird down whole.

Incredible shot, Larry. It’s hard to look at, but, birds have to eat and nature isn’t all pretty feathers.
