One reply on “Painted Bunting”

We live in Melbourne Florida on near the Space Coast and have had two male painted buntings appear in late December for the past three years. They stay together and feed on an off all day both on the ground and one the feeder. Occasionally they take turns in the bath and are so pluckiy they’ll do so even when a Cardinal lands on the rim of the bath. They’ve also held their ground on the feeder when a pair of woodpeckers arrive. Will try to download pictures later from my phone.
