Description
I planted these Tithonia roundifolia in my in my pollinator garden for the first time this year, hoping to provide a late-season nectar source for migrating Monarchs. Not only did they attract Monarchs until the first week of November in my central New Jersey yard, they were a great hit with other visitors, including American Goldfinches, which would rip out the petals before devouring the seeds.
