Description
I took down my Christmas tree after the holiday and used bungee cords to secure it to a tree outdoors. Attaching homemade suet balls to the tree was the last step. They had to be semi-thawed to form them on the branches but they solidified quickly in the bitter cold. The Blue Jays and Downys found the cache with no problem… so did the squirrels! I had no problem getting interesting photos from my bedroom window.
