Description
It’s late afternoon, walking upstream along the North Side of the James River in Richmond Virginia.
Record-breaking rainfall, 3 feet above normal, produced fast-moving water. Most of the quiet fishing
areas seemed nonexistent. Despite difficult conditions, this Great Blue Heron had skills.
