Description

Could you just imagine standing on your terrace surrounded by 8 1/2″ of beautiful, fresh white snow and suddenly see this beautiful creature fly in. He stayed at the suet feeder for a few minutes and I was just waiting and hoping for the right moment. I was getting cold, my arm was tiring from holding the camera at the ready but finally he took flight to land about 60 feet away. What a wonderful, thrilling sight and I was so incredibly happy to capture it.
