Description
I remember a time when I thought that a sparrow was a sparrow was a sparrow was a sparrow. Now I appreciate the differences among the species, with the White-Throated being one of my favorites. I love watching them hop back and forth scratching the ground in search of food, and their finely whistled tunes are a welcome accompaniment to hikes and runs through the forest.
