Description

Banded in our yard on June 23, 2016 (as part of Neighborhood Nestwatch), this Chickadee returned to our feeders regularly over the following two years. On this morning (October 18, 2017), she paused for a moment atop a stand of sumac, having just plucked a fresh seed from the stalk. The light was perfect, and she allowed me to snap a few frames before heading off to eat.
