Description

I know it’s spring when the barn swallows return to my neighborhood pond and roost under the footbridge. I took my camera up to the bridge one day and watched dozens of swallows performing their high-speed acrobatics over the water as they hunted insects. Much to my surprise, a single barn swallow landed on the bridge just feet from where I was standing and stayed long enough for me to snap a quick photo.
