An American Goldfinch Hangs Out Near The Beach

This American Goldfinch was with a small flock near the beach in Pt. Reyes National Seashore. While I had seen goldfinches many times in Minnesota, I had never seen one in California. This burst of yellow was welcome on a cold and foggy day at the shore.
