Description
This Bald Eagle was dancing on the water as if it didn’t care for the temperature of the water and didn’t want to put its feet in the water. It gets pretty cold here in Wisconsin and I can’t really say I blame the poor bird. I know that isn’t actually the case – they’re far better equipped for the cold then I am. They don’t even come close enough to photograph them until the rivers freeze over good and thick. I have to put on three layers of warm clothing to go out photographing them. I love watching and photographing these beautiful birds! We are blessed to live in a development perched on a bluff 450 feet above the Mississippi River so we see quite a few of them.
