Description
The bane of many a bird feeder, the European Starling is numerous,aggressive, and yes, beautiful. Their iridescent, dark, glossy winter plumage accentuated by white or light spots is a surprising sight to behold particularly in the right light.
This particular bird did show some manners as it waited for a place at a feeder occupied by sparrows. It watched intently in a shower of millet hulls.
