Description
Tanagers love to eat honey bees. I am a beekeeper and a week during early spring the Western Tanagers come to feast on the bees heading out to collect nectar. It is fun to watch them swoop down and pluck the little snacks from the air. As I tried to photograph their aerobatics this one perched for a perfect portrait shot.
