Description
Red-bellied Woodpeckers are very common visitors to our feeders. This male was drumming on our empty feeder in April to announce to all the other woodpeckers “this is my territory”.

Really nice photo
Boring? But beautiful! How do one define boring birds?
I believe it is a magnificent shot taking time to pose for Paul while having a little lunch. Getting a shot of a constantly moving bird/animal is very difficult, IMO and Paul did a great job getting that moment in time to stand still.
