Description
A very common backyard bird; the Northern Mockingbird can make an evening of birding worthwhile. The sun was going down and I had just gotten home from work. I wanted to do some birding, but there were no birds in site. A couple of moments before I was going to pack up my spotting scope, this Northern Mockingbird jumped out to make my boring evening an eventful one. It sat still for a while for me snap a handful of photos with my new digiscoping set-up. This very common and some may consider a boring bird, made my evening!
