This is odd… I noticed a Downy Woodpecker last week with a significant bill deformity (I have not seen this individual again this week). However, in taking pictures of some of the Goldfinches that are transitioning into spring plumage this week I noticed one of the males has an overbite. It almost looks like the end of his beak is hooked and not the typical shape.
