Male Cape May Warbler, non-breeding plumage, visiting my garden fountain on September 21, 2017. It’s the first time I’ve seen the species and there was at least one more without this deformity visiting. Other than the bill deformity, this bird had no other visible problems. It appeared alert and was flying, hopping, drinking, etc.
