Description

Here is another view of a female House Finch who has a lower beak that is shaped like a squared off shovel, and her upper beak is half the size in length. She has adapted to eating & drinking. I’ve watched her on four different visits to my yard since I began my FeederWatch, and she never stays longer than 5 minutes. She arrives when she sees other birds feeding, but seemingly alone.
