This very brown, ruddy looking Downy Woodpecker has been visiting my feeders for a few weeks. There is almost no white visible on the feathers.

I have had at least one like this all winter here in Michigan. Mine are almost orange and look as if the downy mated with a baltimore oriole. Weird!
