White-headed House Finch

Hello Mary Ann, this House Finch actually has a condition called leucism. It is the partial loss of pigments in an animal’s body which causes the white feathers. I see you tagged it melanism, but melanism is an increased amount of black pigment in an animal’s body. So it’s basically the opposite. Have fun watching that white beauty!
