All of the other male house finches that have come to my feeder have the normal red or pink coloring. This is the first one with yellow that I have seen.

It’s a pretty finch. When it’s molting, if it eats food that lacks certain pigments then it will be yellow or orange. So that’s why it’s yellow. I’ve never seen a yellow one at my house either.
