  1. Hi LuAnne, this is called leucism. It is basically partial albinism. The difference is that albino birds are fully white (not including legs and beak) with red/pink eyes. Leucistic animals can be fully white but they have black eyes. Since you can see some yellow on this goldfinch, it is definitely leucistic. Hope this helped!
