Unusual Bird: Bald Eagle with Deformed Bill
Additional images:
Saw this particular Bald Eagle today for first time, at Anticline Pond, Rock Canyon, in Pueblo Wildlife Park. I was thankful he was able to catch his prey normally. He caught the fish at 12:30. In the sunset shot, blood can be seen on his bill at 6:18pm. I was driving out of the park when I spotted him on a dead cottonwood only 20 yards from the road when I got this shot with my 600mm.

Weird. It’s good that he can hunt and eat normally.
I agree. Maybe that could give him an advantage?
