Unusual Bird: “Crossbill” is still alive
This dove was first observed here in the 2018-2019 season. He is quite the bully which maybe has helped in his survival. Or perhaps the Hawks aren’t interested in a meal that looks different from the crowd.

I once raised one Orlando Florida. Then released it in audon acres outside of Orlando. It did very well. Remember teaching it to fly.
