Unusual Bird: Downy with gray chest

This Downy has appeared the past several days. There may be more than one, but the gray chest made me look more than once. I thought at first it may be a shadow, or maybe he got dirty, but since I’ve seen him several days in a row looking the same, I thought I’d ask if someone could give me a clue.
